Entire Staff Of Sonic Quits Together

The now "ex sonic crew" taped an expletive-filled note on the door last week apologizing to customers for the inconvenience, explaining that "due to terrible management, the whole store has quit." Circleville's Sonic wasn't the only restaurant to temporarily shut down, according to a story from The Scioto Post. Two other locations followed suit. The report claims the backlash stemmed from management dropping workers' wages from the state's minimum ($8.55) to $4 plus tips.

I worked at a Sonic for about three days when I was in college. I walked out the middle of a shift and reported them for wage theft, so. Also, do people even tip at a Sonic anymore?

It's worth noting that almost all Sonic locations are franchises, and so was the location in question until recently. It was bought out by corporate, as were two other locations where the full staff also quit together, just with more succinct notes. One read "Goodbye" and the other "Thank you next", and reportedly the employees sent a scathing email to the others.
