Jack Osbourne is a new father again after welcoming his fifth daughter, his second with wife Aree Gearhart. Even sweeter is his newborn's connection to his late father Ozzy Osbourne.
The couple made the announcement in a joint post to Instagram on Wednesday (March 11), sharing a short black-and-white video of their snoozing newborn next to a bat Jellycat plushie and introducing the world to their baby girl Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, named after her legendary rocker grandfather who died last year.
The post revealed their little one was born shortly before 9 a.m. on March 5, weighing in at 7 pounds and 12 ounces and measuring 19 inches.
Jack and Gearhart, who tied the knot in September 2023, are also parents to daughter Maple Artemis, 3, per People. The media personality also shares daughters Pearl Clementine, 13, Andy Rose, 10, and Minnie Theodora, 8, with ex-wife Lisa Stelly.
Ozzy passed away July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, weeks after his final performance alongside Black Sabbath at the Back to Birmingham benefit concert. His cause of death was later revealed to be the result of a heart attack with "joint causes" of coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction.
In a December 2025 interview with The Sun on Sunday, Jack revealed he and his wife were able to share the news with the rocker that they were expecting prior to his death.
"I think it's been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing — probably in that kind of 'full cycle' category, in a weird way," he said. "It's very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness."
