Rock icon Jack White has been announced as a surprise addition to the Coachella 2026 lineup!
Performing on Saturday afternoon during Weekend 1, White will take the stage at the Mojave Tent at 3 p.m. PT for a 45-minute set, a time slot traditionally reserved for unexpected performances. In recent years, artists like Ed Sheeran, Weezer and blink-182, have also made surprise appearances in this slot.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer returns to Coachella for the first time since headlining in 2015. His band, The White Stripes, first played Coachella in 2003. This surprise addition follows the release of his two new singles, "G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs" and "Derecho Demonico," which he performed on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week.
The Coachella 2026 lineup features headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G, along with performances by Young Thug, Devo, Addison Rae, and David Byrne. The festival will stream live on YouTube, allowing fans worldwide to catch White's set and other performances.
White's inclusion in the lineup continues Coachella's tradition of last-minute surprises, adding excitement to the festival's diverse offerings. Whether he will perform during Weekend 2 remains unconfirmed, but attendees are eagerly anticipating his return to the desert stage.
