From the stage to the studio.
Nine Inch Nails, who have been touring with Boys Noize for the last year, confirmed on Wednesday (April 8) that a collaborative album was not only in the works, but that it also would be dropping soon.
After fans spotted a mysterious billboard in the Indio, California desert this week that teased a collaborative album between the electronic artist and industrial rock band, both acts made the news Instagram official.
"NINE INCH NAILS NINE INCH NOISE, HALO 38, APRIL 17th, PRE-SAVE NOW," the Trent Reznor-fronted band shared in a post that featured the forthcoming album's artwork.
So far, no other details besides a release date of April 17 have been revealed about the collaborative effort.
The German electronic music producer, born Alexander Ridha, has been touring with the Grammy-winning band since last year. The two music acts are also slated to take the stage together this weekend for a joint Coachella set.
Ridha originally met Reznor and bandmate Atticus Ross in 2024, when the pair selected the German producer and DJ to rework their score soundtrack from the movie Challengers.
He also contributed to the duo's Tron Ares: Divergence, a remix album of their soundtrack for the 2025 film in the Tron franchise.
Last October, Nine Inch Nails expanded their successful ongoing "Peel It Back" tour, the band's first outing in three years, with Ridha accompanying the music duo since it kicked off.
