Peter Frampton Drops New Song ‘Lions At The Gate’ Featuring Tom Morello

Rock legend Peter Frampton has released a new song titled "Lions at the Gate," featuring the renowned guitarist Tom Morello.

The track will appear on Frampton’s upcoming album, Carry the Light, his first collection of original rock music in over 16 years, arriving May 15, 2026.

"Lions at the Gate" blends Frampton's classic rock sound with Morello's signature guitar style, creating a powerful protest-driven vibe. On Instagram, Frampton said the song carries a "powerful message."

"It's a powerful track with a powerful message, and Tom's playing took it to another level," Frampton wrote. "You'll find it on Carry the Light, my first album of new music in 16 years, out May 15. I created it alongside my son Julian, which made the whole experience even more meaningful."

Carry the Light features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Sheryl Crow, Graham Nash, H.E.R., and jazz saxophonist Bill Evans.

In addition to "Lions at the Gate," the album includes tracks like "Buried Treasure," a tribute to the late Tom Petty featuring Benmont Tench.
