The Strokes Announce North American, European & Japanese 2026 Tour

Hot off a new album announcement and dropping a new single, The Strokes have officially just announced a 2026 tour via their Instagram account.

Aptly named after their upcoming album, Reality Awaits, the 37-date world tour kicks off June 12 and runs through October.

The rock band showed off a poster design in the announcement while also revealing show supporters, which include Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Alex Cameron and Fat White Family.

Last week, the group sparked buzz when they dropped a new teaser video of a 1980s Nissan 300ZX alongside the tagline "in the flesh, it's even sexier." The clip then flashed the caption "Reality Awaits: The new album by The Strokes."

Following the new album announcement, the band dropped a surprise single, "Going Shopping," the next day.

Slated for release on June 26, Reality Awaits marks the rockers' seventh studio album and their first full LP in six years.

This past weekend, frontman Julian Casablancas and his bandmates took the stage at Coachella, for the first time in 15 years.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 17. Here are the full tour dates:
