Carrie Underwood is “living my best rockstar life,” after sharing the stage with legendary rockers Mötley Crüe.
Mötley Crüe performed during the star-studded American Idol season finale on Monday night (May 11). The band teamed up with Underwood, who won the show’s fourth season in 2005 and returned as a judge last year, to perform two iconic ‘80s anthems. The group kicked off their performance with “Home Sweet Home,” and closed with a fiery rendition of “Kickstart My Heart.”
The collaborative performance marks the latest time Underwood joined forces with rock giants. Earlier this season, she took the stage with Billy Idol and guitarist Steve Stevens to kick off American Idol’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night with “Rebel Yell.” The country powerhouse gushed afterward, “What is my life?!?! …I still can’t believe THAT just happened!” Over the years, Underwood has also toured with Guns N’ Roses on select dates, performed with Joan Jett, teamed up with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and joined Papa Roach.

The Top 3 American Idol finalists were Hannah Harper, Jordan McCullough and Keyla Richardson. Host Ryan Seacrest revealed Harper won this season of Idol, making her the first female country artist to win the show since Underwood’s victory in 2005.
