iHeartRadio is premiering the new single from Greta Van Fleet.
Entitled "Play Your Games," the raw new track was recorded and co-produced by the rock band, along with acclaimed producer Mike Elizondo.
"The flagship of the song is irreverence," guitarist Jake Kiszka tells iHeartRadio. "It's this beautiful nature of seizing a moment."
Inspired by one of the group's oldest demos from their archives, the new single recalls the gritty, fearless spirit of the band's early days. With a nod to their formative years playing in small clubs in their home state of Michigan, the new track is a testament to the rockers' sharp-edged charm and chaos that's fueled much of their music.
The rockers released their last album, Starcatcher, back in 2023, which featured the hit "Meeting the Master." That same year, frontman Josh Kiszka came out as a gay man via his Instagram account. "Everything had been met with love and acceptance and humility and respect, and that was a huge wave of reassurance that things are moving in the right direction," the musician told Rolling Stone at the time.
