Shinedown has officially released their highly anticipated new album, EI8HT.
This marks another monumental chapter for the band, known for redefining modern rock music. The album features 18 tracks, including the hit singles "Dance, Kid, Dance," "Killing Fields," and "Three Six Five."
Ahead of the album's release, guitarist Zach Myers hinted that fans have only heard a glimpse of what's in store, describing the project as one of the band's most ambitious efforts to date.
"The songs that came out in 2026 do kind of encapsulate what's been on the record so far but I think that there's so much more depth to the record & things to come that people are going to hear. This album takes you on a ride & is completely different than any record that we've ever made before in that regard."
For frontman Brent Smith, that depth comes from the album's ability to connect with listeners from all walks of life.
"From the very beginning, this band has always been about people," Smith said. "This album was built for everyone. No matter where you come from, what you believe, what you're carrying, or what you're trying to overcome, there's something in this record for you. We've never wanted to make music that excludes people. We want people to feel seen in it."
Produced by bassist Eric Bass, EI8HT continues Shinedown's tradition of pairing massive rock hooks with deeply personal themes, delivering what the band describes as its most expansive and emotionally resonant album yet.
