Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a chaotic series of three separate crashes on a South Carolina highway that left one person dead.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, per TMZ, the incidents happened one after another. The first involved a single vehicle driven by a man. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the initial crash.

The situation turned deadly when the man exited his vehicle and was killed after being struck by another motorist. Police said the driver who struck him was not arrested, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.

Moments later, the rock band’s tour bus was involved in a third crash, which involved five vehicles. Several people reportedly suffered minor injuries, but no one was transported to a hospital. The cause of that collision is also under investigation.

On Friday (Aug. 21), the group confirmed via a Facebook post that "all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed."

The band is currently on tour and has continued with its scheduled performances.
