U.S. military forces continue to systematically destroy Iranian aircraft on the ground as the war against the Islamic Republic intensifies, with American commanders declaring that Iran is rapidly losing its ability to fight in the skies.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released video footage on Wednesday (March 11) showing American strikes hitting Iranian aircraft on the ground.

"The Iranian regime is losing air capability day by day," CENTCOM wrote in the post. "U.S. forces aren't just defending against Iranian threats, we are methodically dismantling them," the command added.

The ongoing conflict has seen the U.S. and its allies, including Israel, targeting Iran's military infrastructure. The Wall Street Journal reports that while the U.S. and Israel operate modern aircraft like the F-35, Iran's reliance on aging aircraft highlights a significant vulnerability. This has led Iran to depend more heavily on its ballistic missile program, which has also been a target of American and Israeli strikes.
