Popular Convenience Store Recalls Beverages Over Possible Contamination

Wawa, the popular regional gas station and convenience store chain continuing to expand to new markets, has recalled four of its branded beverages over possible contamination concerns, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Workers reportedly found an issue with equipment that led to a milk allergen possibly contaminating the 16oz versions of Wawa Iced Tea Lemon, Wawa Iced Tea Diet Lemon, Wawa Diet Lemonade and Wawa Fruit Punch. All four recalled items have been taken off store shelves since the recall was shared.

The FDA said it received zero reports of consumers experiencing illness because of the potential contamination, but advised anyone who bought the products to throw them out immediately. Full details on the recalled items are included below:
